What is Long Lost Family?

Long Lost Family, ITV's family history TV series, follows ordinary people who want to trace their missing family members, whether they're adoptees searching for their birth family, parents looking for their long-lost children or more. Presenters Nicky Campbell and Davina McCall, with help from intermediaries, DNA experts and investigators, lead them on a fascinating and moving journey to connect with separated loved ones.

When is the new series of Long Lost Family?

The new series of Long Lost Family will start airing on ITV at 9pm on Monday 8 July. The first episode will follow 76-year-old Roslynne Webb as she tries to trace her daughter, who she gave up for adoption when she was 16; and 61-year-old Tegan Cornish, who was adopted as a baby and wants to trace her biological brother Kenneth.

What spinoffs of Long Lost Family are available?

Spinoff series of Long Lost Family include Long Lost Family: What Happened Next, which catches up on the families who have previously been featured on the programme; Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace, which focuses on foundlings trying to trace their birth parents; Long Lost Family: Shipped to Australia, which follows former child migrants who were sent to Australia in the mid-20th century; and Long Lost Family Special: The Unknown Soldiers, which follows efforts to trace soldiers lost in the First World War.
