Genealogy family history website Findmypast offers the best records for discovering your British ancestors online. As well as census records (including the 1939 Register), the site has an impressive collection of birth, marriage and death records going all the way back to the 16th century. The website also has a fascinating collection of military, criminal, occupation and school records as well as an unrivalled collection of newspapers from the British Library’s collection.

The two lucky winners of this competition will get a year’s access to all of the records on Findmypast including the 1921 census for England and Wales. The Premium subscription package is the only one to include this fascinating new record collection.

The Promoter is Our Media Limited (an Immediate Group Company), company number 05715415. Entrants must be UK residents (including the Channel Islands) aged 18 years or older, excluding employees or contractors of the Promoter or anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.
Closing date for entries is 17 February 2023 at 11.59pm.
By entering, you agree to be bound by all the rules of the promotion.

Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
One winning entry will be chosen at random from all the correct entries after the closing date.
The draw is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into.
The Promoter may share the details of the winner with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling/delivering the prize.
The winner will be notified of their win within 28 days of the closing date by email.
The winner must claim their prize within 28 days of notification. In the event that a winner does not claim their prize within 28 days, another winner will be drawn at random.
The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and not for resale and cannot be modified. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions or discounts. There is no cash alternative.
