Known simply as Dev, Devin Griffin is a Heart radio presenter and DJ. He was born on 23 December 1984 in Hackney, London. On 13 July 2023, he will trace his family history on an episode of BBC One's Who Do You Think You Are? Here's five things you might not know about the star...
1. Gave you my heart
Dev Griffin is most well-known for his career as a radio presenter. Since January 2021 he has hosted ‘Feel Good Weekend’ on Heart Radio. In 2022, he also began hosting Heart’s evening show 7-10.
2. Wave of success
Dev has worked for BBC Radio 1 Xtra and BBC Radio 1. He has regularly hosted The Radio 1 Breakfast Show and began presenting his own radio show with Alice Levine in 2018 which lasted for two years.
3. Mixing bowls not beats
Griffin is not only a master of music but also an excellent chef. He displayed his cooking skills on Celebrity Masterchef in 2017 and made it to the final.
4. Dancing queen
Dev Griffin talents don’t stop there and in 2019 he spun onto the stage of Strictly Come Dancing. He was eliminated in week four however and revealed he was ‘absolutely gutted’.
5. In front of the crowds
Dev is also a triumphant DJ and was a member of the Rebellious music collective.
