What is RootsTech?

RootsTech is the world’s largest family history conference. It’s run by FamilySearch, the world’s largest free family history website, and first started in 2011. The annual event, held in Salt Lake City in Utah, features a packed schedule of talks by family history experts and celebrity keynote speakers, family history workshops and an Expo Hall of family history companies and organisations. Since the coronavirus pandemic, RootsTech has also had a large-scale online offering, offering free online access to over 200 sessions that family historians can join from anywhere in the world.

When is RootsTech 2026?

RootsTech 2026 will take place from 5 to 7 March.

How much do tickets to RootsTech 2026 cost?

Tickets to RootsTech 2026 are currently available at early bird prices of $69 for one day or $99 for three days. Online attendance is free. You can register to attend here.
