Since 1961, the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies (IHGS) has been at the heart of genealogical education with its gold-standard distance-learning courses. Alongside its acclaimed Higher Certificate in Genealogy, the institute now does smaller ‘Bitesize Online Courses’ using a new Web-based learning platform that offers an interactive, accessible and flexible learning experience.
