British newspapers published between 1910 and 1930 are currently on sale for just £10 each before being removed from circulation.

Historic Newspapers has announced it is running a ‘Last Chance Archive Sale’ of its stock, which will end on 30 March 2026.

Robert May, the company’s managing director, said: “This historic collection of original newspapers has survived two World Wars. But March 2026 marks the end of an era. Once these newspapers leave the archive, they will disappear forever.”

Customers can search Historic Newspapers’ website for newspaper editions by date. The collection includes local and national newspapers. They can purchase newspapers printed on personally meaningful dates, such as a grandparent or great grandparent’s date of birth, and see day-by-day accounts of historic events such as the First World War, the 1926 General Strike, and the early rise of Hitler and Mussolini.
