WDYTYA? series 13 to resume with Sir Ian McKellen episode

The 13th series of Who Do You Think You Are? will return to our screens in a new Wednesday evening slot, starting with Sir Ian McKellen’s episode on 25 January


Who Do You Think You Are? will return to BBC One on 25 January following a short break

The 13th series of Who Do You Think You Are? will resume on Wednesday 25 January with an episode featuring Sir Ian McKellen.

The programme, the first to be broadcast since Ricky Tomlinson’s episode before Christmas, will follow the actor as he investigates the lives of a musical hall star and a radical campaigner at 8pm on BBC One. 

Who Do You Think You Are? is then scheduled to continue with four further episodes, shown at the same time on consecutive weeks.

The full running order is as follows: 

  • Sir Ian McKellen (Wednesday 25 January)
  • Greg Davies (Wednesday 1 February)
  • Sunetra Sarker (Wednesday 8 February)
  • Warwick Davis (Wednesday 15 February)
  • Sophie Raworth (Wednesday 22 February)

As before, Who Do You Think You Are? Magazine will be sharing exclusive unseen footage and expert research guides as each new story airs.
