Probate research and genealogy company Family Wise is offering one young genealogist a three day inside tour of its headquarters.
The tour will take place in April at Family Wise’s facility in Calne, Wiltshire. Travel and accommodation expenses will be paid.
Maddy Bullock, digital marketing assistant at Family Wise, said: “During these three days, they will get an hour with the managing director, a chance to assist the case managers with difficult research, an insight into our search techniques, time on our international desk, and the chance to work with our marketing team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to learn how to make money in genealogy, learn more about the industry, and give them invaluable experience to put on their CV.”
She added: “The qualities we are looking for in a candidate are dedication, tenacity, willingness to learn, problem-solving, and strong genealogical skills and interests.”
Family Wise offers services including tracing will beneficiaries, finding people, family history research and understanding DNA test results.
