BBC reveals WDYTYA? series 13 start date

The long-awaited 13th series of Who Do You Think You Are? will begin on Thursday 24 November with an episode featuring Danny Dyer

The BBC has revealed the start date for the brand-new series of Who Do You Think You Are? 

The long-awaited 13th series will kick off on Thursday 24 November with an episode featuring EastEnders actor Danny Dyer.

Broadcast at 8pm on BBC One, the hour-long programme will follow Dyer as he uncovers his Cockney roots, making some unexpected discoveries along the way.

A further four episodes will air in the weeks leading up to Christmas:

  • Thursday 1 December: Amanda Holden
  • Thursday 8 December: Liz Bonnin
  • Thursday 15 December: Cheryl
  • Thursday 22 December: Ricky Tomlinson

Episodes featuring Sir Ian McKellen, Greg Davies, Sunetra Sarker, Warwick Davis and Sophie Raworth will be on our screens after Christmas and into the New Year, but the transmission dates have not yet been confirmed.
