A google search for Royal Dublin Fusiliers Records brings up Dublin City Council website which states that records are held by the National Archives at Kew.
Good luck with the search.

Laura - it would help if you could give and idea of when you think George Woods was in the army. If you are looking for a service record for service during WWI, then these are to be found on Ancestry - however, very few records survive, as they were held in a building which was destroyed in the blitz. If he was a career soldier, still in service into the 1920s, then his records will still be held by the Ministry of Defence and you will need to pay the fee and apply. If he completed his service and retired to pension before WWI, then his service record should be held in series WO97 and be available on the Findmypast website.
Hope this clarifies things for you.

As Sylcec has said, more info would be helpful as George's dates of service change where his records are held and how to access them.
In any case I have done a quick search using "George Wood" and "Royal Dublin Fusiliers" and have found only one Service Medal Index Card with the following details:
REF: WO 372/22/43426
Medal card of Wood, George Edward
Corps Regiment No Rank
London Regiment 6350 Private
Royal Dublin Fusiliers 43352 Private
I found this on TNA website but this should also be available on Ancestry.
