Access to Hertfordshire Sources

Postby ksouthall » Thu Jan 03, 2013 12:54 am

I found the mention of the Herts Archives online catalogue a useful reminder. I have used it before to order copies of records not available elsewhere and today found some more useful records listed which have helped with a complicated branch of my family tree.

There are also some other really good websites with information about Hertfordshire families. Links to a few are below:-

http://www.hertfordshire-genealogy.co.uk - Herts Genealogy website. Donations requested to a local charity.

http://www.kimptonvillage.tsohost.co.uk/ - Kimpton village website.

http://bacchronicle.homestead.com/LGChronicle.html - Leverstock Green Chronicle.

http://www.redbournburymill.co.uk/The-Mill/History - History of Redbournbury Watermill.

http://www.wheathampstead.net/index.shtml - Wheathampstead village website.

http://www.ashwellmuseum.org.uk/ - Ashwell Museum website.

http://www.prestonherts.co.uk/ - Preston village website.
