Can't upload 500k attachement

Postby Byron130 » Tue Oct 16, 2012 9:25 am

Hi,
I need some help from the forum with regards to deciphering some handwriting but when I try to attach the 500k file it says in red bold letters (something, like):
SORRY THE BOARD HAS REACHED IT'S UPLOAD LIMIT

What do i do now please?

Regards

Hi,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the forum. What type of file are you attempting to upload, and on which board are you trying to add it to?

Maybe you could try making the image smaller. Generally speaking, the smaller the image (and thus the file size), the better. Otherwise, the photographs come out huge, which means that you have to scroll vertically and horizontally across the browser window just to see it!

Below is a good example - you will see that the file is only 24.64 kb:

Hope this helps,
Jon

Thanks Jon,
It was a screen grab but i've made it a tiny bit smaller and re-uploaded it and it's posted fine now.

Thanks for your help :D
