Sisters on a tree, married to one man

Postby thingybobby » Fri Jul 06, 2012 8:18 pm

One of my wife's ancestor's lost his wife and then replaced her with one of her sisters, to bring up his young family, marrying elsewhere to avoid detection?

Although the second wife is shown as sibling on the first wife's branch, when I try adding the second marriage, ancestry appears to create a fresh branch for her.

Is there any way of entering them as part of a single family branch?

Hope this makes sense?

My worries were unfounded, rang Ancestry and a very nice man re-assured me it would work OK.

Just had to make sure census didn't show children as hers!
