OK, I am after some advice here.

I have pretty much exhausted the available online records for my family so I know I now need to get off my lazy ass and go to the local archives.

But I am curious as to what records I should be looking for.

Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks

Lesley.

Hi Lesley
That's an awfully broad sort of question!
To be able to give you the advice you want, we first need to know how far you have got in your research - are you still stuck in the 1800s for instance or have you got back to the beginning of parish registers in the 1500s? Do please give us an idea of both time frame and location which are the subject of your research.
best wishes, Sylvia
