Crossword

I have just completed this months crossword, can i attach my name and address to the page as there is nowhere to write it, maybe in future issues a senders name and address box could be added under the crossword, less chance of attached bits parting company when sorting entries out.

Dear Fred1759,

If you just write your name and address on a seperate piece of paper (or around the crossword if it will fit) and send it in, that would be fine.

Well I'm still waiting for the answers to the last crossword that was published some months ago, AND who the winners were. The Postman has'nt told me, but I thought the Editor might.
Interested in the surname SNELL circa 1910, Middlesex. and Claudia Vail nee Snell, living and married in Canada from about 1912/16.

Hi there,

Sorry for not getting back to you last week. I'm currently looking into the final crossword we ran in September 2009 and will find out what the best way of announcing the winners is.

All the best,

Matt

Well I'm going to admit that I have clearly finally completely lost the plot.
When I first read this I thought I must have missed the crossword. I've now read the magazine from cover to cover and still can't find it. Someone tell me what page it is on please. :?

Colliehouse - don't panic, you haven't lost the plot! The original message, I think, was posted at the time we ran a monthly crossword, and the discussion's been reactivated recently by pre1837 wondering when the winners (and answers) for a subsequent crossword would be published. This is the competition I'm looking into now, and will let you know how I get on.

I hope that makes a bit more sense - sorry for the confusion!
