Any chance of dating the attached. They were obviously taken in the same place and probably the same day.

Any help appreciated. It may help me find out who they were.
Oh that people annotated ALL their photos. I have hundreds without any clues!

From the man's boater and the children's clothing I would suggest they are probably between 1900 and the start of WW1 (1914)

Probably taken in Hackney or Chingford, depending on the family it fits. Its strange because the number of children don't fit either of the families if the 1900-10 estimate is correct. 1895 would fit better.

Incidentally the originals are sepia prints on very thin paper - not the usual card found around that time.
