Problem staying 'Logged On' AGAIN

Postby pre1837 » Fri May 28, 2010 6:55 pm

The heading says it all.
Had this a while ago. Each day now I can get in without having to sign in then suddenly, I have to 'Sign in' again. The box IS checked and I have NOT touched my cookies! :o

I do agree. Such a simple thing but it drives me mad to have to keep logging in.

Glad to discover that it's not only me who has this problem! Mostly (but not always) it's OK if I just open the website directly, however whenever I follow a link from the WDYTYA emailed newsletter, I am never recognised and always have to log on.

I have never been able to log on automatically even though I have "ticked all the right boxes"? Must be a glitch somewhere.

I'm wondering if it happens as a 'punishment' for not logging in each day. It has seemed recently that if I logged in every day I got straight in but when I can't and leave it a couple of days I have to go through the whole boring process again.

No, that's not it. Ivisit the site several times every day and still get the occasion that I have to 'LOG IN'.

I'll see if the website boffins can sort this out. I've never really thought about why I have to keep logging back in but it would be good to find out why.
