Territorial Force

Postby ann » Thu May 28, 2009 5:36 am

I have a relative who joined the Territorial Force in 1913 in London and was then discharged abt. 18 months later under what looks like para 156 ii) of the TF Regulations. Does anyone know what the reason would have been?

This often covered a medical discharge. The wording was, I believe, "unlikely to become an efficient soldier" but covered medical reasons.

Thanks Tilliduff for your help. I wondered whether it might be something like that. Where did you get your info from?

I googled :) A lot of references came up, all saying roughly the same thing.
