Family Heirloom Mysteries Answered!

Postby Admin » Mon Oct 22, 2007 4:36 pm

Got an old watch from the depths of time? A piece of jewellry with a hidden past? Furniture handed down from generation to generation?

In the magazine's Q&A section, we run a Family Hierloom identification service run by former Sotherby's head of Jewellery and now director of Corfield Morris Fine Art & Antique Advisers, Martyn Downer.

If you have any old family items that you've always been curious about or you think have an interesting back story to them, please send in details to us at sarahwilliams@bbcmagazinesbristol.com
If you have any technical difficulties, email EdwardHerbert@magazine-services.co.uk

Yes, I've got a couple of interesting looking 'trinkets' that I've always wondered about. I have sent further details and some pictures to the above mentioned email address.
