buying magazine in Canada

Postby treesrch » Sun Nov 16, 2008 10:06 am

Hi, I have asked my family to get me a subscription to the magazine for Christmas but I have not find a place on-line where I can order the magazine to be delivered to Canada. Would appreciate the URL.
Thanks,
Patricia

You might try this address. I do not know if they do subscriptions to Canada though.

Yes, I have tried that site but when I get to the page where I fill out my address the only country listed is the UK.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
I did look at Amazon.ca but you can't order it there. Amazon.com has it but they will only deliver to the US.

You can subscribe from our website. Click on the 'Who Do You Think You Are' logo at the top of the page (if you didn't get here from the home page of our website) and that will take you to the home page. From there, click on the subscription box on the right-hand side. That let's you choose any country. We have lots of subscribers in Canada and Australia.

No it does not work. When I get to the billing page and try to fill out my address the only Country that shows up is United Kingdom and I am not able to select Canada. If the magazine does deliver to Canada I would like to know how to get a subscription.
Thanks would appreciate some help on this.

Select which magazine you want, the click on the country and select Canada in the drop down list, then go to my Basket etc. It's listed at £75. Next issue Jan 2009 dispatched Dec.

I do all that and the next page it takes me to asks for my address. When I get to the country the only option is the United Kingdom - even though I have previously put in Canada. I don't think it is something I am doing wrong as I have tried numerous times and continually have the same problem.

I've had a go from my end and if you select Canada at the beginning it autocompletes to Canada at the end. I'll see if someone technical can work out what is going wrong at your end and then send you a direct email.

RE: buying magazine in Canada - problem solved

Problem solved - I was trying to do this on my MAC when I went onto the kids PC I was able to subscribe with no problem. Must be a problem with the Mac's. Anyway thanks for following up on this and being patient with me. I should have tried the other computer sooner.
Thanks again,
Patricia
