Ireland + Who do you think you are?

RTE the Irish broadcaster has just started an Irish version of the popular BBC programme. There is a view again link below which also has links to sites used in making each programme. The 1st programme on Charlie Bird is awesome.

[:)]Thanks for the link, your pete. I found that very interesting. Especiallly the link to the marriage laws, which was very informative.

Did the series prove popular in Ireland?

Does anyone know if there is any chance this series will be show on the BBC? or a possibilty of buying the series on DVD? I would certainly like to buy it.

Have you found out yet whether the Irish Who Do You Think You Are? will be shown in the UK, or if it will be released on DVD? I would be very interested to see it, as I don't have a clue about researching Irish ancestors!

Thank you
