Marriage c1829 in Wales

Postby katebenn » Tue Apr 14, 2020 8:34 am

I can't find the marriage c1828 -30 in the Glasbury area of a William Sheen b1806 to Elizabeth Parry b1804.
Their first child was b 1831 at Llanstephan, Radnorshire - Margaret Sheen - no baptism found either

Any help please!

The records are held in the Powys Archives Offices at Llandrindod Wells and as you would expect are closed to the public due to the Coronavirus. They do have a research service. Although some parish records are available on FMP I have not looked there to see if these parishes are there.

When I open my laptop later I will look and see if it is just a transcript or if there is an image

Many thanks for this - it has filled in a gap. I didn't think they would have gone to Merthyr Tydfil!!
