Smiths of Hackney

I am trying to find out what happened to two members of the Smith family to be found on 1851 census at 10 Ebenezer Place, Shacklewell [HO107 1504 181 46].

The head of the family was William Smith (49), a labourer born in Hertfordshire. I have no idea where in Hertfordshire, but would love to know. He died not long after the census in 1855 at the same address.

The two members of the family that I lose track of are:

(1) William Smith (7) - the son of the above William Smith, who was born in Tottenham on 24 Mar 1844. In 1851 he was a scholar.

(2) George Smith (22) - the nephew of the above William Smith, a whitesmith who was born in Edmonton.

Any help on tracking down what happened to either of these would be very welcome.
