Cheshire Wills before 1858

Postby joannelovesbooks » Sun Feb 09, 2020 12:26 pm

On Ancestry, I have found a reference to my ancestor Thomas Howard, died 1829, stating that his will appears to be held in the Cheshire: - Wills and Administrations, 1826-1830 collection. I have been doing some searching but I can't find out where the original copies are held or how I can view them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks
Joanne

You can also go to Cheshire Archives direct in your search engine and follow the link to Wills. I obtained several pre-1858 Wills from them a few years ago.
