Hi again, finally back at the keyboard but still not right yet. Ancestry has a death and burial for a Joseph Lillington in 1858 age 67 (born 1791-quite a difference) but that is back in Dorset. Could I ask where you got the 1843 date ?

Bristol, St Mary Redcliff. Abode Bedminster, aged 73 buried 26 feb 1843

I have the census and register scans if you want them.

Hi Templ4r, that would help a great deal .
By the way, I got a reply from the Ancestry tree owner that I spoke of. Unfortunately Joseph is his great-grandfather of wife of 3rd cousin 3x removed. He wasn't able to explain the move to Bristol either. However his 5xGt Grandmother has my surname, how about that for coincidence!
Would it be easier if I supplied an email address via a message for you to send the bits ?
