What name did you use? If you said Catherine then they wont find it as its under Kathleen.

Possibly better to order it just using the grooms name.

As Avaline says, you have to put both names in as per the index or just the Groom.

Strange thing is, if it's the same Leonard he was in the Army in 1908 for 12 days before he bought himself out.

There is nothing after 1911 for her but one mention of a Leonard Friend and a date of 1912 on one Ancestry tree

https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/ ... 8299/facts

But work back from the 1911 census and Catherine is with Maud Mary Friend, go back with her to 1901 and 1891 and you get Leonard born 1890.

Look for his marriage in 1912 and you get Kathleen Wallace, on the 1939 Register, she has her name altered and a death for Catherine Friend matches. She was probably called Kate like my grandmother who was a Kathleen but often called Kathrine. ( or Gobby as my Granddad called her as she never stopped talking)

Hopefully when Colin gets the marriage certificate, that will prove that's her.

You appear to have tried to order a BIRTH record, the 1912 entry was a marriage.
