Large images upsets post layout.

Postby Mick Loney » Mon Apr 29, 2019 11:25 am

When users include a large image in their post, on an iPad, the Safari browser shrinks the post until image is viewable on screen. If it is a very wide image, the post shrinks to such an extent, that text becomes unreadable.
Can the HTML for the page layout be adjusted to accommodate large width images?

Why not just reduce the size of the image as large images slow down browsers etc.

I would have suggested that, but a lot of users would struggle to adjust size of an image, and every new user would fall into same trap, easier if developer catered for it.
My thinking was that if developer can adjust image size so that it can be see in the mobile app, why can't they do the same for normal browsers? :D
