The death record for Matthew Milligan in 1860 is correct, I think. His age at death is in the range for the 1841 and 1851 census ages, plus Mary was a widow in the 1861 and 1871 census. There is another Matthew Milligan who died, in 1861, but he was the baby son of Michael Milligan and Catherine McDonnell, probably named after his recently deceased grandfather.
Mary was listed as being born in Liverpool in 1841, 1861 and 1871, though Ireland in 1851, but that was a ‘ditto’ location, assuming she was from the same place as her husband.
The more often than not location is probably the correct one, hopefully.
That’s about all I know about her, the 4 census records, her death certificate, and the Christening records for her children, but no birth records for any of them.
At least a first name is better than nothing!
