Marriage locator (for C of E weddings)

Postby JaneyH » Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:13 pm

I came across this one earlier in the week and thought people here might be interested: http://www.marriage-locator.co.uk/

The aim is to tell you which church a marriage took place in when you provide the GRO reference (year, quarter, volume and page). *Big caveat* It’s very much a work in progress and not complete. Could be helpful in sorting out which certificates to buy if you know where someone lived.

Sorry Janey, my bad. I’ve been using this site for years, should have passed it on as a tip :D

No problem! Family history research wouldn't be half as much fun if we didn't learn new things along the way
