Surrey History Centre research

Postby batty » Fri Sep 14, 2018 2:32 pm

Is anyone visiting the Surrey History Centre in the near future? If so would you be willing to check the Brookwood Cemetery burial registers for an ancestor of mine please. Details are
Robert Daveney (Debney) Lovett from Stoke Newington, who died on 5th March 1883. I have been unable to find out were he was buried and would like to see if he is at Brookwood.
Thanks in advance
Regards

He is not indexed on FamilySearch as being buried at Brookwood.
Abney Park has a Robert Debney Lovett burial, but in 1925
City of London & Tower Hamlets Cemetery is on ancestry
Ditto Queens Road, Walthamstow.
City of London Cemetery, Little Ilford (Manor Park) - registers to 1955 are now online, which is cool, he doesn't appear to be buried there within two weeks of that death date
Manor Park Cemetery is on deceased online

East London Cemetery, Plaistow, might be a possibility.

Thanks Ian. The Robert Debney Lovett in Abney Park is my Roberts son. I will see if I can find out anything about Manor Park. It's really a mystery, I know he died, but his burial just alludes me.

Hope you don't mind me giving a link to the City of London registers!

Or go to the home page if you prefer.
Fabulous, but can be somewhat slow.
