Honouring Hardingstone's WW1 Heroes

We would appreciate your assistance in assisting our research for an event being held in our village of Hardingstone, just outside Northampton, the weekend of 15-16 September 2018 between 10 and 4 daily. This will take place in and around St Edmunds Church and its purpose is to recognise and honour those from the village who are listed on our War Memorial. This free to visit weekend will feature displays commemorating all those who died, and all are welcome.

Additionally, we would appreciate hearing from any of your readers who recognise the names or may have photos of those listed on our War Memorial, and may be able to further assist us in our research. Those names are:

Have you looked at The National Archives website?, especially amongst the PIN (Ministry of Pensions) records.

Hi,

I can give you a little bit of info on Edward Cooke and Frank Hewes.

Edward would have been my great uncle. There was a photo of him but my dad doesn't know what happened to it.
