Noticed Nancy (Kane) Gray's age wasn't listed on her marriage certificate so wondered if she could have been closer to Roderick Jr.'s age (born around 1844)? Unfortunately, I couldn't find a baptism record for either.

Also, wondered if Nancy (Hemphill) Kain could have married twice? First to John Kain in 1821 and second to Roderick Sr.?

Thanks. When Nancy applied for poor relief in 1877, she gave her age as 25 so that's why I estimated born c 1852 in Coleraine. Her daughter Sarah was 10 (born before she and Robert were married). On Sarah's birth certificate there was no fathers name and she was named as Sarah Kane however!! Church records show that Sarah's father was James Gray - a publican (from Glasgow). Could be Roberts brother?! Gets more and more tangled!!
