TNA transcriptions

Anyone researching Naval ancestors might like to be aware that records from document BT 377/7 (online) are poor and mistranscribed (Hampstead, London described as being in North Wales; Lambeth, London as being in South Wales and Sydney as being 'Near South Wales" (only about 12,000 miles away in Australia). It is probably not the transcribers fault but the instructions that TNA (The National Archives) gave them. For some people there as many as 4 microfiche cards, a fact not stated on TNA's catalogue.
