Postby Rob » Mon May 07, 2018 7:28 pm

Hi need help deciphering a gravestone in St Nicholas, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. See https://tinyurl.com/yazf6g3v - Mary [wife of?] ?? Roberts. Died aged 31, February 1861? There’s an infant death at the bottom, died aged 17 months, February 1839.thats about all I can read! Cannot find any matching records on FMP, Ancestry or Fam Search. Thanks.

Don't really know what it says. As there is a widowed John McRoberts in Yarmouth in 1861, maybe
Jno Mc Roberts :|

If that infant death could be in 1859
Death, Dec 1859, Yarmouth 4b 5
McRoberts, Margaret Eddington
age 0

And it seems to me to say died 17 Dec, aged 17 months? But then age on death would be 1.
Anyway, Margaret was buried at St Nicholas, 19 Dec 1859
