Yes, according to the GRO index I fear that one would be either too old or too young. Probably too old!

Well just like my James Deering, Caroline Clark fell off the earth. And the marriage of Frederick and Annie remain a mystery unless years later something changes.

One census that I’m unsure of is the 1891 Census.

Where it says Frederick is an Accountant but than in the next two census he is a traveller. Do you think that one is correct? DOBs are off too I think.

I think that one is a different Frederick. And is probably the chap in Putney in 1901 with wife Annie M (both 34) and two daughters.

I wonder if I ordered Annie’s Death certificate if it would give me an indication to who she was. Her husband’s death certificate said that his wife died by his side. I wonder if someone died by hers? I’ve went through wills from both their death time periods but found nothing.

It looks like it could be your only hope! It would be a gamble, but you have the option of getting the death record for £6 at the moment.
Do you have an address for her from her burial record?

She’s buried with Frederick so I can just grab her burial record. I just hope that it says who her informant is and that it is a relative.

So I was incorrect that the Burial gave me not much but an address of where she was living at the time of her death but confirmed her year of birth.

So I will have to get her “Death Certificate”.
