Bradley Brick Wall

Postby SILVERFOX » Sat Mar 03, 2018 3:30 pm

Hi all after many years away from this forum and family history research I have decided to give it another go.I was trying to find the father of Francis Bradley born 1841 in Kidderminster.I got as far as his mother being Margaret Bradley dob aprox 1816 and his brother being John Bradley dob 1839.Someone suggested his father was George Bradley and another suggested that Margaret was a Bradley who later married a Wall andJohn Bradley kept the name Wall and Francis reverted back Bradley.,Also Francis could have been born out of wedlock.Any help would be appreciated.I am going to stick at it this time.Paul

Hi
Yes sorry I was about to add the baptism for John at Yarpole but by computer cut off.
John Bradley s of Margaret Bradeley 2 Dec 1838

This confirms that Margaret was single and her children were illegitimate.
Margaret gives her birthplace as Clunton Shropshire.
My guess would be she was baptised at Clunbury
Margaret d of Thomas and Elizabeth Bradley 9.4.1815 labourer Clunton.

Sibling Elizabeth bapt 30.8.1807 (possible burial 19 Jan 1809)
It looks like mom and dad married at Ludford Shropshire
Thomas Bradley and Elizabeth Dodd both of this parish 8.9.1806
wit Ephrium Grubb and John Tipton.
