FMP hints on Family Historian

Postby paulr1949 » Thu Jan 04, 2018 10:47 am

I discovered just after Christmas that, when FH displays possible matches, it now has an extra button, which you can use to reject a hint without reviewing it first. It is very handy if there are hints which are only covered by a Pro (world) sub, as if you try and review those it throws a wobbly.
It is a double-edged sword however as I accidentally clicked on the wrong button when my mouse moved and a hint vanished-because it does not put them in the "rejected hints " area!

Paul,
Join the FH user group at fhug.org.uk.
Very helpful site, targeted at running FH, they’ll know how to get the hint back.

Hi Mike

I've been a member for quite a while now. In fact I've been in contact with the Calico Pie support team about another issue (now resolved) for a few weeks and they didn't know why it should happen. I plan to raise it with FMP.
