Eleanor M Brown

Postby seasalora » Wed Dec 13, 2017 5:01 am

I am hopeful, someone may be able to help with information re the above. The daughter of George Henry Brown and Susan Murchie, Eleanor was born 18 August 1921, District of West Derby, Lancashire. The 1939 Register shows her living with her parents at Wallasey, Cheshire, occupation, Apprentice Pharmicist with the Hospital Auxilliary Service and it is here that my research attempts have dried up, although there may be a possible marriage, 1943, to a John L Taylor, but have never been able to confirm this. Any help will be greatfully appreciated.

The fact that Brown has been crossed out and replaced by Taylor certainly suggests (confirms) that she married someone Taylor. You might have to order the certificate to prove it for sure. Unless there is something in the newspapers.
