Ruby Wax episode

Does anybody know when the Ruby Wax episode will be broadcast? It does annoy me when the BBC split a series up.

The BBC has announced that Ruby Wax's episode will be broadcast at 8pm on Wednesday 4 October. I've started a separate thread to discuss the episode when it's broadcast.

A very interesting and moving episode and must have been difficult to hear. The history of the Second World War especially on Thereisenstadt (aka Terezin) was revealing and horrifying. The best episode by a long way.

What a brilliant, informative and emotive story. I can completely understand Ruby's concern and puzzlement in not knowing anything about her family and what they endured. A very fast hour!

I found the entire episode riveting. Probably one of my favourites.

It must have been such a relief for Ruby to become aware of her ancestors illnesses. Depression/mental illness runs in my family and one of my relatives, a great aunt, knew when she was going to experience an "episode" and would check herself into hospital until she felt well again. Funnily enough, this was in Austria too, or at least that area was Austria until it became Italy after WW1.

I would like another programme focusing on her father's line.

A very moving episode and worth the long wait.

I now have a lot of respect for Ruby - i too would love to find out about her father and what her grandfather died of. It would be interesting to see how far back the illness could be traced to. Such a shame about Gabriella & her husband. I think Ruby deserves another 1 hour special for the rest of her family.

Good for her wanting to arrange a headstone and to want to look after the family plot.

A very good episode which covered a lot of ground. Good that some of the family photographs were identified.
