Frederick Stone, born 1891

Postby pforkes » Thu Jul 13, 2017 12:20 am

Frederick Stone is my first cousin twice removed.

His birth was registered in Q1 1891, being born in Normanton Yorkshire and baptized on 1st February, 1891 and All Saints Parish Church, Normanton.

Then 1901 census has him living with his parents and siblings at 10 Lower Station Road, Normanton, Yorkshire.

In 1909 (at the given age of 20) he enlisted with the Hussars of the Line.

After this, the trail goes cold. Can anyone help me find out what happened to him?

Have you not applied for his service record, as this would likely tell you more?

There is a death registered Wakefield in the June Quarter of 1910 for a Frederick Stone with the correct age from his year of birth, of 19 years.
