Samuel Cooper Young

Mon Jun 26, 2017 4:18 pm

Hi. I'm researching my 3 x great grandmother Mary Cooper Young who was born around 1855 in Sunderland, although I've not been able to find her actual birth certificate. I'm finding it difficult to research the family name, as I'm not sure if the Cooper is a second christian name or double barrelled surname. I've tried all different combinations. When Mary married 8th May 1979 she was living in Brotton in the district of Guisbrough Yorkshire and her father Samuel was already dead. I would be grateful of any suggestions of what I should do next.
