Is this the death you are referring to?
March 1944 Edmonton 3a 1244
Collins, Harry
age 65

Probate Calendar 1944
Harry Collins of 28 Johns-avenue Hendon Middlesex
died 16 January 1944 at Enfield House 19 Chase Side-crescent Enfield Middlesex
Administration to Lily Pearson wife of Hughes Henry Pearson

Re Lily
Marriage, Dec 1909 Sheffield 9c 978
Collins, Lily
Pearson, Hughes Henry G.

So, based on all that, there may be some doubt as to whether the 1944 death is your man?

Just need to clarify the right family. Is Harry actually Henry?
Is this him with his parents and siblings in 1911:
99 Landells Road, E Dulwich
George Henry Collins 52
Emma Collins 54
Henry Collins 31 - Motor Fitter, born Mortlake, Surrey
Walter Collins 21
Ernest Collins 19
Arthur Collins 12

Hi
He was born in 1879/80 in Tottenham
He is on the 1881 census and the 1891 census

Cannot find him on 1901 or 1911 censuses

Verified your census findings now.
He attested for the 3rd Royal Fusiliers on 1 March 1898 for 6 years.
However, there is another attestation for 27 June 1898 to the E Yorks Regt. Seems to be the same man.
He died 5 May 1901 at Bloemfontein.
Next of Kin: George White Hart Lane, Tottenham. 2 brothers and 3 sisters also noted.
You can find these records on Findmypast.

I've not followed this thread but:
1. His death at Bloemfontein will probably be part of his Army documentation, not under separate death certificates.
2. The image that you found looks very much like what Sylvia was talking about (East Yorks and Royal Fusiliers) but this is just the first page - work forward through the file (using the arrows at left and right), looking at each page in turn until you can go no further or hit a new soldier.

Hint: Ancestry Army records will often dump you in the middle of a sequence of images for a soldier. Go forward AND backward until you either hit a new soldier or can go no further.

FindMyPast can sometimes behave the same, except it usually does manage to hit the first record for a soldier and it seems to automatically cut you off at the end of that soldier. Not sure how it behaves if there are 2 sets of records for one guy.
