Couldn't find Lis(s)ette's marriage or death record but noticed her children were born in the USA.
Don't know if the following is relevant or not?

Event Type Immigration
Event Date 1831
Event Place New York City, New York, United States

The following appears to have died at the home of her son, Edward Smart (b.1840, Hull, Yorkshire.)
Deaths Mar 1880
SMART, Elizabeth
age 71
Bolton (Lancashire)
Vol. 8c Page 218

Edward was living at 4 Cheapside, Great Bolton in 1881 with his wife, Louisa, and children.
His baptismal record says he was the son of Edward Smart and Elizabeth Floyd.

Edward, Jr. was living with his Mother and Grandparents Floyd in Sculcoates in 1841 so I'm not sure if "Elizabeth" is the same person for which you are looking?

Like you, I can't find a death (or remarriage) for Lissette Smart or Goodmane, including variant spellings. Lissette could be mis-heard as Elizabeth or similar (Lisbet?) - she's entered as Lessetts in the 1871 census. Maybe Olivia wasn't the informant of her mother's death, because as Lissette was Olivia's middle name, you'd think she'd be more likely than others to say it clearly.
Searching for Lissette under Goodmane, in the 1891 census, there's an entry for LG, female patient, married, aged 80 (born about 1811), resident in Whittingham Hospital, Lancashire.

Not so. Elizabeth Smart nee Floyd remarried to James Lucas at Hulme Holy Trinity in 1847
In the 1851 census they are in Stretford, Lancashire (piece 2218 folio 484 page 16), and with them are Elizabeth's two Smart children, one of whom is Edward, 10, born Hull.

So the identity of the Elizabeth Smart whose death was registered in Bolton is a bit of mystery. Had a look at some Bolton cemetery registers on family search, didn't find her.
