I forgot to add I have already asked FMP to investigate and so far have had no reply after 1 year!

It might be worth going back to them and asking them to investigate whether the book (s) for APND have gone missing, as per Ian's idea. It gives them something concrete to look at. Be quite specific and link it to that list of missing places that I mentioned - is it another for that list?

Thanks Adrian, I didn't know about that. Would have saved me some time! Strange that findmypast haven't noticed anything, or perhaps they have....
