Liverpool Welsh Presbyterian records

I'm trying to locate baptism records for Welsh Presbyterian churches in Liverpool. My family were living in Toxteth from 1872 onwards having moved there from Monmouthshire. I can't find anything about them on Ancestry so any help is gratefully received.

Can't help with where your records are but I'm slightly concerned what name / denomination you should be looking for:
http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Liverpool#Churches is the GENUKI list of churches in the Liverpool area (but don't ask me how big that area is). It contains no Welsh Presbyterian references.

However, http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Liverpool/churches1902 contains a list of churches / chapels from a 1902 Gores Directory and that includes a section for "CALVINISTIC METHODISTS OR WELSH PRESBYTERIANS". And when I look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presbyterian_Church_of_Wales it says
The Presbyterian Church of Wales (Welsh: Eglwys Bresbyteraidd Cymru), also known as Calvinistic Methodist Church (Yr Eglwys Fethodistaidd Galfinaidd),

You may already know that, of course, but if you didn't then I'd suggest revisiting the links looking at Calvinistic Methodists. Either way, the GENUKI stuff might help you find where the records are.

Lancs OPC http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Liverpool/Liverpool-Central/index.html mentions one Welsh Calvinist Methodist, which would sound useful - but doesn't have any records online for it.

Thanks. My great great grandfather Matthew Smith moved to Liverpool from Monmouthshire & married Sarah Evans also from Monmouthshire. They married @ St Marks Church on 25 Aug 1872. My great grandmother was Sarah Elizabeth Smith born 28 Jan 1873. After speaking to someone from Liverpool FHS she suggested they may have attended a Welsh church in Toxteth. Think I'll have to make a trip to Liverpool Records Office.
