Rose,yes RASC people were often attached to other branches. My father was attached to the 11th Armoured Div at some point.

Hey, I know that this may be a late reply as this was posted in 2017, but my great grandfather had the exact same number on his post card (111689) his name is Kenneth Arthur Foy and he was part of the Middle East forces, I believe it was a simple spelling mistake
