Marriage for Joseph and Sarah Flint

Postby FlintK » Tue Mar 28, 2017 11:08 am

Hello,
Hope someone can help find the marriage for Joseph and Sarah Flint. Six known children Mary b 1739, Sarah b 1740, Thomas b 1742, William b 1745, Ann b 1747, Benjamin b 1750 all in Horley Surrey. No marriage that I can see in or around Horley. I think Joseph died in 1780, I don't have a baptism either, and Sarah in 1750 both in Horley but not proven.
Thank you.
Kevin.

Possibilty? Is on ancestry.
London, England, Clandestine Marriage and Baptism Registers, 1667-1754
Name: Joseph Flint
Event Type: Marriage
Marriage Date: 5 May 1736
Marriage Place: London
Residence: Horley in Surrey
Spouse: Sarah Bridges
Piece Description: Officiating Ministers: Wyatt. Wyatt's register. (1735 Apr - 1737 Mar)

Bachelor and spinster, says he is a Farmer of Horley

PCC will of a Joseph Flint, Yeoman of Horley, proved 1743, mentions a son Joseph. So might be your man's father perhaps.
