Hi
Another one?
Sep 1891 Barton Regis 6a 57
Morse, Esther Queenie
mother Fletcher

In 1901 Esther is in Bristol, niece to Frederick and Fanny Hussey (piece 2398 folio 104 page 1)
Another niece, Kate Morse, 7, born London, is with them
Fanny Hussey's maiden name appears to be Morse (looks like they married 1884)

Esther may be in Manchester in 1911, an actress (Ester Morse, 19, born Bristol)
There is a death of an Esther Morse there in 1917, age 25. Burial record at Prestwich St Mary says she was from the County Asylum. May or may not be her.

Hello
I just like to add three of the four children are baptised at Bishopton St Micheal and All angels 5.6.1895 children of Phillip Isaac Morse and Ethel.
I've not seen the original so have no idea of his occupation.

Isaac seems to be Jewish (burial in a Jewish index at Ridgeway cemetery Bristol 25.4.1922) and the son of Isaac Morse and Susanna Mills married Farnham Surrey 22 April 1861.
Isaac Senior 20 artist s of Samuel Morse occulist and Sussannah 18 d of William Mills auctioner.
wit Richarda nd Mary Woodenson.
Siblings Fanny Mar 1865 Newington and Catherine Mar 1864 Lambeth.

The last child Kitty,Kate Morse is born 1894 and either in Leeds or London depending on whether you look at the latter or earlier census.I can't find a birth for her so no idea of her mother.

The second wife was born in Colchester 1874 and seems to be a Kate Florence Kirk father George in the army which may explain a lack of birth for her too.
I can't see a marriage for her either but I'll keep plugging away.

Eureka
Got him in the papers a big scandal!
Isaac Morse actor and optician divorces his wife in April 1897.Wife Constance names him for adultery.
Marriage St George Hanover Square at the Reisgtry office 23 Dec 1893 Constance Maria Bawtree.
Isaac an optician but previously an actor, purchased the Castle Hotel Brighton with his wife's money but was rarely there. He left completely in Dec 1894 and took up with a girl Florrie Grey.He was spotted living with Miss Grey in Gravesend where he was lodging and a decree nisi is granted April 1897 according to the Liverpool Mercury April 12th 1897.

Possible birth for Constance Maria Bawtree Colchester 1854.

There seems to be another wife Clara 24.9.1882 chasing him for maintenance .Reynolds Newspaper.
Mr Isaac Morse actor alias George Kirk proprietor of the Daniel Lambert Company appearing at Leicester Opera House this week. They had been living in London 2 years ago but had quarreled and are now apart.Clara had fled in fear but now has been following him around the country looking for maintenance.

Could that be the George Kirk born in 1843 whom Edward Surrey and Kate are with in 1901 and therefore Isaac's father?

Hi
The 1911 is interesting Clifford St Chorlton cum Medlock at theatrical digs
Isaac Morse 45 married actor London
Florence Morse married 38 actress Colchester
Kitty Morse 17 single actress Leeds

So that birth registration does look good

Isaac Senior in 1911 is a boarder at 238 Kennington Park Road actor married 68 but strangely he's the one who signs the form ! And his entry and signature is in pencil .What's going on there?
