Has anyone any information on Robert Joseph McIlroy, who married Margaret Teresa Kayes in Birmingham in the March Quarter of 1937 please? This is for someone overseas.

He appears to have been a Professor of Chemistry in various countries saying he was born around 1912. This may be him.

Birth Date: Jul-Aug-Sep 1911

He may also be the same person below.

I can't find him in any electoral census afterwards so assume he is the following person.
First name(s): Robert Joseph

Age: 59
Birth year: 1912
Burial year: 1971

The date is the date of death as it has sometimes been found that there has been a considerable period of time between death and burial. The entry number denotes Fiche or Page/Individual Entry No of the filming of the original records. This filming is held at the Genealogical Society of Queensland Inc.
Call number: QLD/815/101
Entry no: 22/42

He had a son born in Birmingham and twin daughters.
I believe one daughter was living in Australia in 1980.
