James Archibald Fisher

Postby seasalora » Thu Jan 05, 2017 1:10 am

James was born 21 Oct 1912, son of James Faulds Fisher and Minnie Buckley of Wallasey, Cheshire. He marr Elizabeth Griffin, 1942, Ncle under Lyme. WW11, which he survived, saw service in the RNR where he was a Sub Lieutenant, RNVR. Have searched but cannot locate a date of death for either.
In 1947, this couple made a trip to New Zealand, however it is from this date that I have lost all contact. I am hopeful that someone will be able to put me back on track. I would really like to find more of his war service and also if there were any descendants, and of course whether they returned to England - any help gratefully appreciated.
kind regards,

ianbee,
Can't thank you enough for your response to my query as you have really 'nailed it on the head'. This is the answer to a long missing link - his g grandfather migrated to Australia in the 1850's, guess this could have been the tempter. My thanks again regards,

sylsec,
Again really appreciate the help, NZ bmd historical records is one of often used sites, however as you see via the responses, ianbee has really done some stirling work and found my missing link. Thankyou again, my kind regards,
